Oh boy, the X-Files... My husband LOVED this show. I liked the IDEA of the show (like you mentioned, it brought something new to the 90s), but after the new initial novelty wore us, I found it "meh" at best, probably because I found the main characters boring (and most people I knew who watched it were obsessed with them, so clearly that was a huge draw to the show for some people)

Yeah. I totally agree with you. In the end, the showrunners got lost and the characters got boring. ;-)
