Love this. Problems do seem bigger in the dark making the dawn such a welcome relief. You have painted a scene we have all shared one way or another. Nicely done Michael.
My wife always tells me what I write makes her laugh (but I wouldn't swear that she means it in a good way, hahahah). Thank you Michael, I really appreciate your comment. And I am waiting to read something new from you. I still have the last one (Moments) in mind. I loved it.
Hahaha yes, my girlfriend is my harshest - but also fair - critique. It’s good, we need to be kept on our toes.
And thank you, Michael that’s very kind. My next piece is coming soon, its been a bit delayed because I’m working on a series for the first time, and I just wanted to get a bit further through it before I dropped part 1.
I’ve never been a morning person because magicians usually work late at night. Lol! But the last 10 years living on a farm I am waking up at 5 o’clock in the morning because of my two lovely kitties who wake to the first sounds of birds chirping happily to the first rays of dawn’s light. Wonderful essay Michael, thank you!
Yeah. Dawn’s first rays of light are extraordinary, such a miracle. I often get up very early to enjoy them. Thank you for reading Charlotte. I am glad you liked it. :)
I used to open our back door with sleepy eyes while letting the kitties out, then go back to bed. But now I walk out on the lawn bareroot and feel the earth(and sometimes a snail ) and experience the different rays of the light coming at me. I really didn’t understand the science behind all the color. Thank you!

Thanks, Steve. Thanks a lot.
I wish I could like this twice.
Thanks, Andy. This is one of my favorites. Your words made my day.
Beautiful. A scientific and romantic piece.
I love the physics of light. "Chew your breath" a powerful image and line.
After reading this, it's time to go lie down with my wife (though it's dark).
Great writing Michael!
Thank you, man! I'm very glad you enjoyed it. Have a good rest then! :-)
The way you’ve crafted this piece into a narrative while also weaving in things about the quantum world is fantastic! :)
Thanks Michael! I just have a lot of fun writing like this. And I'm glad you liked it, buddy! ;-)
I have a note above the spot where I wrote that says — “have fun with your writing, it comes across when you do”
Your piece reminded me of that :)

But thank you that means a lot. :)
Ya're very welcome!

It’s one of the reasons I love physics! Thanks back, Charlotte. :-)
